Forward Plan of Key Decisions - The Leader of the Council is required to have a forward plan containing details of Key Decisions which will be taken over the forthcoming four month period. The Plan is published on a monthly basis at least 14 days prior to the start of each four month period. The City Council has decided that a key decision is an Executive decision which is likely: -

(a) to result in the Council incurring expenditure or income or the making savings of more than £ 1,000,000 revenue, taking account of impact for a full year; or £ 1,000,000 capital;

(b) to be significant in terms of its effects on communities living or working in an area comprising two or more wards in the City.

Delegated Decisions - Decisions can be taken by individual members of the Executive Board, Ward Councillors and Council Officers. Records of these decisions can be accessed by clicking the Delegated Decisions link.

Archive Delegated Decisions - This link takes you to past records of decisions taken by individual portfolio holders and Ward Councillors prior to 19 January 2012

Petitions - Nottingham City Council welcomes petitions and recognises that petitions are one way in which people can let us know their concerns. This link takes you to more information on how the Council's Petitions Scheme works. It allows you to access records of responses to past petitions and to access the Council's electronic petitions system.

Constitution - The Council's Constitution sets out how the Council conducts its business, how decisions are made and the procedures that are followed to ensure that these decisions are effective, efficient and transparent so that the Council remains accountable to local people. Some of these procedures are required by law while others are a matter for the Council to determine. The Council will exercise all its powers and duties in accordance with the law and its approved Constitution.
