20mph Speed Limit
29/05/2015
1. 1. Regarding 20mph sign being replaced in Harrow Road and around the city, has there been a change in legislation since the original signs were erected 2-3 years ago that stimpulates the need for the new replacement signs?

3. 3. Is there any intention to install 'repeater' signs on Harrow Road? If not why has the expense of changing these signs been incurred? Is it perhaps that there is an intention of installing repeater signs in other areas and Harrow Road has been included simply to conform?
4. 4. Why was it necessary to replace the posts? Why not just replace the signage attached to the post? Has there been an EU directive that all traffic signage shall be attached to square posts? Surely this cannot be a local decision?
5. 5. How many visits to the site took place by surveyors and workmen to remove 8/9 signs with round posts, and install 6/7 signs with square posts?
